Please note that this book is my own work.
It is not sanctioned by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day
Saints or anyone else. It is a compilation of my own experiences,
beliefs and questions. My family has been in the church for generations.
The first Mormon Palfreyman was a woman by the name of Hannah Palfreyman
who joined the church in England and came to the United States to
settle with the Mormons. She had to walk across the plains from
Iowa to Salt Lake City, Utah where she was then asked to settle
with her children in Springville, Utah. I am grateful to her for
her decision to live her life according to the dictates of her own
conscience. My life is better because of her sacrifice.
My son Sam just returned from his two-year
mission in Singapore and Malaysia. His brief note to me about the
book is the first comment to grace this site. I invite you to add
your comments or questions.
